Hundreds prepped for their run this year against a backdrop of trees ablaze in reds, yellows and oranges. With the perfect weather and peaking colors, it’s no surprise that this year’s Classic had a record-breaking 2,007 participants!
The trail race – one of the few held in the metro area - originally started as a way to showcase the fall palette as participants raced through picturesque Elm Creek Park Reserve. Years later, Autumn Woods Classic is still a delight to all from dedicated distance runners to beginners.
