Wedding Site Details
Visit The Landing well before making your reservation to look at the options you have to choose from for your wedding site. Chairs and tables for 200 people are included with your rental.

Wedding Sites
- Bloomington-Ferry Church – A beautiful, old-fashioned church with a seating capacity of up to 85 people.
- Town Hall – A large, open-space building ideal for receptions. The building has a seating capacity of up to 60 people.
- Pavilion – An overhead picnic-style shelter surrounded by trees and offering a scenic view of the Minnesota River. It has an approximate seating capacity of 200 people.
- Gazebo – A white Victorian gazebo in the center of the village square surrounded by quaint vintage homes. Up to 300 guests can be seated in front of the gazebo.
- River Overlook – The Minnesota River overlook with its stone wall offers a scenic back-drop for an outdoor wedding. It has a seating capacity of up to 250 people.
Special Amenities 
- Horse-drawn trolley rides: $300 1st hour; $50 each additional hour.
- Specialty programs including Old-fashioned Children's Games or Old Tyme Medicine Show: $250 1st hour, $125 each additional hour.
- Reduced admission to tour site $7/guest.
Reservation and Payment
Payment is due in full at the time of the reservation. Payment may be made by credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Discover). Payments may be made by cash or check if received at the time of the reservation.
Damage Deposit
A damage deposit of 25% of the rental fee will be due at the time of the reservation. If no damages occur the deposit will be refunded within 30 days of your reservation.
Security Fee
A security fee will be charged in addition to the rental fee and any other associates fee when a large group is renting this facility and is serving alcohol. The fee will apply if alcohol is self-provided or supplied by a vendor, and the rental time period extends beyond 7pm. The fee will be determined at the time of the reservation and covers the cost of providing on-site security during the rental.
Cancellation Policy
If a cancellation is made 240 days prior to the use date 100 percent of the fee will be refunded. If the cancellation is made 120 days prior to the use date 80 percent of the fee will be refunded. If a cancellation is made 60 day prior to the use date 50 percent of the fee will be refunded. All cancellations made after 60 days are non-refundable. No refunds are given due to weather conditions unless the park or facility is officially closed due to severe life threatening weather.

Reservation fee does not provide exclusive use of The Landing. Other park guests may be visiting the site during the time you have reserved.
Wedding Rehearsals
You may schedule a one-hour wedding rehearsal from 5-7 p.m. on any weekday, provided there are no other rentals. All rehearsals must be scheduled through the Reservations Office, 763/559-6700; a fee of $50 is charged.

By establishing the approved list of caterers, The Park District has reinforced our commitment to providing the highest level of service and guest satisfaction. If you choose to have your special event at The Landing catered, you must select your caterer from the Approved Catering list.
Directions
The Landing is located approximately 23 miles southwest of Minneapolis, at 2187 East Highway 101 in Shakopee. From Minneapolis, take Interstate 394 west, turn south on U.S. Highway 169 and take Highway 101 west. Take Highway 101 west approximately four miles to the The Landing entrance, which is located on the north side of the highway, just west of Valleyfair Amusement Park.
