Picnic Areas
Three Rivers Park District offers picnic areas that are close to home in beautiful, natural settings with facilities and services to make your day enjoyable and memorable. We also offer catering in the parks. See our Approved Catering List for catered events.
Reservations for 2008 will begin on Jan. 2, 2008. Reservations must be made at least 21 days in advance.

More Information
The Shady Ridge and all shelter sites have a permanent mini-grill included
with the site.
Basic amenities at most sites include picnic tables, water and small
permanent grills. In some parks, sites can be combined to accommodate
larger groups.
How to Make a Reservation
Reservations are required for all group picnic areas and
can be made by calling the Reservations office at 763/559-6700. Office
hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Saturday & Sunday, 8:30-12:30. Reservations must be made at least
21 days in advance. Reservation fees must be paid in advance.
VISA, MasterCard and Discover cards are accepted.
| To make a reservation, the following
information is needed: |
- Park and desired date.
- Location within park desired.
- Alternate dates.
- Your name, address, group name if any, phone
number and number of people in group.
- Reservations must be made 21 or more days
before requested date.

| Payment Procedure |
- Credit Card (MasterCard, Visa, and Discover
accepted.) Please have card number and expiration date available.
- Payment is due in full at time of reservation.

Pavilion Damage Deposit
|
- For all pavilions a damage deposit of 25% of the rental fee is required at the time of the reservation. If no damages occur, the deposit will be refunded within 30 days of your reservation.
- Damage deposit applies to Bryant Lake, Cleary Lake, Fish Lake, Elm Creek Chalet, Gale Woods, and Historic Murphy's Landing

| Cancellation Policy |
- For picnic areas and group camps, if a cancellations is made 60 days prior to the use day, 50% of the fee will be refunded. All cancellations after 60 days are non-refundable.
- No refunds are given due to weather conditions unless the park or facility is officially closed due to severe life-threatening weather.
- For Gale Woods Farm, Murphy's Landing, Noerenberg Gardens, The Elm Creek Chalet and all rental pavilions: if the cancellation is made 240 days prior to the use date, 100% of the fee will be refunded. If a cancellation is made 120 days prior to the use date, 80% of the fee will be refunded. If a cancellation is made 60 days prior to the use date, 50% of the fee will be refunded. All cancellations after 60 days are non-refundable.
