Three Rivers Park District Reservation System

Catering in the Parks Program
Three Rivers Park District is committed to providing an extraordinary family friendly and open environment for your special event or gathering. To ensure a distinctive and personalized experience for your event, Three Rivers Park District has established the Three Rivers Park District Approved Catering list (PDF).

By establishing the approved list of caterers, The Park District has reinforced our commitment to providing the highest level of service and guest satisfaction. If you choose to have your special event at the Park District catered, you must select your caterer from the Approved Catering list.

Group Picnic Reservations
The Park District has more than 27,000 acres of park reserves, regional parks and special-use facilities. Picnic areas are close to home, offering a beautiful, natural setting with facilities and services to make your day enjoyable and memorable. All group picnic areas offer plenty of picnic tables, grills and lots of room to play your favorite games.

Banquet/Meeting Room Reservations
Many of the parks feature visitor centers or pavilions, where rooms can be rented for meetings, wedding receptions and other group events. All sites are air-conditioned unless otherwise noted. Buildings are wheelchair accessible, including restrooms. All sites are smoke-free facilities. Smoking is allowed outside only.

Wedding and Reception Reservations
The Park District offers many beautiful sites for weddings and wedding receptions. Popular wedding locations include Noerenberg Gardens, Historic Murphy's Landing, Gale Woods Farm and Elm Creek Chalet. Receptions include indoor banquet rooms, pavilions, and outdoor picnic areas. Wedding reservations for 2009 begin on January 2, 2008.

Corporate and Group Services Programs
Reward and re-energize your hard-working staff by joining the Park District's new Group Services Program, which features major corporate and community group wellness initiatives, discount room and picnic shelter reservations, and much more!

Group Camping Reservations
We'd like you to think of Three Rivers Park District as your group's year-round camping headquarters. Primitive group campsites are available in secluded areas of many parks. The sites vary as to how many people can be accommodated, degree of amenities and closeness to other park facilities. Some areas can accommodate tent trailers and RVs. In addition, there are special sites for groups such as horseback riders, hikers and canoeists. Reservations are required for group campsites.

Family Campground Reservations
Family-size campsites are available from May through mid-October at Baker Park Reserve Campground on Lake Independence, Lake Auburn Campground in Carver Park Reserve, and the Red Pine Hike-in Family Camping Area in Cleary Lake Regional Park. Each site at Baker and Lake Auburn has a picnic table and fire ring and can accommodate two tents or one tent and one RV, with a maximum of six people per campsite. Red Pine sites have fire rings and picnic tables and can accomodate tent camping only.

Baker Near-Wilderness Settlement Programs
