National Trails Day: Bike Expo

Celebrate our trails. Join members of Three Rivers Park Police's Trail Patrol unit for trail rides and bike safety lessons. Experts from Freewheel Bike will lead workshops on bike commuting and maintenance. Free bike demos and tune-ups will be available throughout the day. Co-sponsored with Freewheel Bike. All ages.

Commuter Bike Expo

Hopkins Depot Trailhead
Discover the benefits of biking to work. Experts from Freewheel Bike will teach workshops and show off the latest commuter equipment. Three Rivers Park Police's Trail Patrol unit will provide bike safety inspections. Free tune-ups and commuter bike demos' will be available throughout the day. Murphy Mountain Bike Sprints
Wednesdays - August, 5, 12, 19; 6:30 – 9:00pm
Murphy-Hanrehan Park Reserve
Mountain bike on one of the Twin Cities' most challenging single track courses. Series of three 10-mile time trials. Time trial format, awards, and door prizes each week. Registration 5:30 p.m; start 6:30 p.m. Helmets required. Co-sponsored by Freewheel Bike. $10/each race.     

Murphy Duathlon
Saturday, September 19; 10am
Murphy-Hanrehan Park Reserve
Join Freewheel Bike and Three Rivers Park District for the Murphy Duathlon! Race on one of the Twin Cities' most challenging courses. Begin and end with a 3 mile run through thick stands of oak forest on shaded turf trails. Between runs, sprint your bike down 10 miles of winding single track through wooded hills and wetlands. Helmets required. $30 Pre-registration. $35 Day-of registration

Note: Murphy Kid's Duathlon immediately following race start. Each registration includes three entries into Murphy Kid's Duathlon.
