Some changes in user fees are in effect as of Jan. 1, 2005.

The fees for archery, horseback riding and off-leash dog exercise areas have changed; for each of these activities, a one-day pass is $5, an annual pass is $30, and a second annual pass in the same household is $15.

A new boat launch/trailer parking fee is in effect; the daily fee is $5, a season pass is $30 ($15 for a second pass in the same household).

For the upland swim ponds at Elm Creek Park Reserve and Lake Minnetonka Regional Park, there will be a daily fee of $1 per person, or a season family pass for $10. Swimming at other Park District beaches will still be free.

Annual or season activity passes are available at visitor centers, nature centers and the Park District Administrative Center.
