Visitor Center - The Visitor Center is located on the boat
access road overlooking Lake Minnetonka shoreline. This beautiful
7,000-square foot facility was formerly a private residence,
and contains three cozy meeting rooms that can be rented by
the public. School and public programs through Lowry Nature Center.

Public picnic areas - Tables and grills are located
throughout the park and are available to visitors on a first
come - first served basis.
Swimming pond - The 1.75-acre upland
swimming pond has a maximum depth of 6 feet and is completely
surrounded by sand. The water initially comes from the lake,
after which it is recirculated, filtered and chlorinated.
There is a changing shelter and concession stand to serve
swimmers, and beach umbrellas provide an escape from the sun.
Admission to the swimming pond is $2 per day per person. A $20 season family pass is available.
Boat launch and fishing pier - Lake Minnetonka
Regional Park provides one of very few public boat launches onto the lake. Parking for 55
vehicles with boat trailers is provided at the top of the rather steep hill that leads to
the launch. Facilities at the launch ramp include a boathouse/toilet building and separate
piers for boat access and shore fishing.
Paved bike/hike trail (2.5 mile) - This
trail connects separate areas of the park, and provides connections
to community trails.
Unpaved hiking trails (1
mile) -
This trail is located mostly west of County Road 44 and south of Lotus Drive. Access from parking lot north of main park entrance.
Pet trail (1 mile) - This turf trail
is accessible from the main parking lot and winds through
maple woods.
Dog-walkers are required to keep their dogs on leashes no longer than 6 feet and must clean up after the pets. Dogs must not be allowed to interfere with other trail users. Violators will be fined.

Creative play area - Featuring
a nautical theme, the 20,000 square-foot multi-level play
area includes a cargo hold, climbing nets and structures,
numerous slides and two 20-foot slide rides. It is accessible
to children of all ages and abilities.
Snowmobile access from Lake Minnetonka
(no trailer parking) - A connecting trail is provided from
the lake at the boat launch, along the northern edge of the
park, to a connection with an outside trail system.
