Choose from skeins and skeins of beautiful yarn in heathers, marls, tweeds and solids. These soft, durable, homespun yarns will produce attractive wool crafts with a unique connection to the farm.

The yarn, which is similar to a worsted weight yarn, is suitable for sweaters, hats, mittens and blankets. Each skein is 4 ounces and are 210 yards a skein. A #8 needle would produce 4 ½ stitches per inch. Skeins are $7.25. The yarn is on sale at the Gale Woods Farm Visitor Center, which is open Sundays, noon-5 p.m.; Monday-Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information, call 763-694-2001.
